We have a very special girl in our family turning 9 next month (19 days, as I was reminded at bedtime tonight!), so birthdays are definitely on everybody’s mind around here!  I came across this gorgeous cake plate that I just had to share with you.  I think it’d be a fun tradition to fill this darling plate with cupcakes, cookies or whatever birthday goodies you’re planning and present it to the special birthday child year after year!  I found it at this online gift shop.

Oh, these turned out so cute – and they were so easy!  If you signed up to bring treats to your child’s Valentine’s Day party, here is a fun way to dress up and ordinary cupcake.

You’ll need:

-cupcakes

-maraschino cherries (with stems)

-white frosting

-sprinkles (I used pink)

-curly ribbon

-plastic chamagne glasses (found at your local party supply store)
