I’m not sure exactly when the shift in our New Year’s Eve plans occurred. Years ago my husband and I would enjoy a fun, romantic evening together ringing in the new year. Once we had children I especially looked forward to this “grown-up” night with Andy and some years with friends too. As the girls got older our “adults only” evening gradually turned into to a family movie/game night that we now look forward to with much anticipation! My kids have already decided what movie we will go see later this week, and have a list a games in mind to play late into the night. Now that I think about it, I really can’t imagine it any other way!
