I am seriously Laughing-Out-Loud this year that we completed the all-elusive outdoor Christmas light decorating! YAY for us! We never have been ones to “keep up with the Jones” but I must say ‘Mr. Jones’ took a double take last Saturday when he saw us up on ladders with huge lighted snowflakes and strings of red and white lights [yes, 'Mr. Jones' typically takes pride in being the first to spread holiday cheer
] For a little background, we are usually the ones throwing up a few strands of twinkle lights one week before Christmas ~sigh~
All this to say that my dear husband will not let us turn them on yet. My little ones are DYING! He says… “When is the best time to turn on our Christmas lights without making our neighbors mad?” (Our house is pretty decked this year). “Look it up,” he says, “There MUST be etiquette regarding Christmas Lights.” So I did and to Mommy’s disdain for the miserable weeks that lay ahead of us until the kiddos can fight and scratch and pull hair getting to the switch first that lights up our neighborhood and miles besides, it looks like etiquette says the earliest is Thanksgiving night… and that is pushing it! WHAT?!?
Well, rats! So, instead, I am going to light up this blog post with this adorable holiday photo card that can be used for twins and your personalized photo baby announcement.
